What data we process
The data you give us through the contact form, by phone, WhatsApp or email: name, phone number, email address and the content of your message. If you go ahead with a transaction, the documents needed to complete it (identification, proof of funds, ownership). While you browse the website, aggregated and anonymous technical data about visits (page, referrer, country, device and browser), without cookies.
Purpose and legal basis
To respond to your request and manage the business relationship (pre-contractual and contractual measures, Art. 6.1.b GDPR). To comply with legal obligations, including anti-money laundering rules for real estate transactions (Art. 6.1.c). To understand, in aggregate, how the website is used and improve it (legitimate interest, Art. 6.1.f). We do not send marketing communications without your express consent.
Retention
We keep your data for as long as the relationship lasts and, afterwards, for the periods required by tax and anti-money laundering law (up to ten years). Enquiries that do not lead to a transaction are deleted after one year.
Recipients
We do not share your data with third parties except where required by law or necessary for the transaction: notaries, registries, financial institutions, and the owners or tenants involved in that specific transaction. For investments in Paraguay, YBY Capital Paraguay S.A., with the safeguards of Art. 46 GDPR. Our technology providers (hosting, email and anonymous visit measurement, the latter with Vercel Inc.) act as data processors.
Your rights
You can access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your data and request its portability by writing to olga@betterol.es, proving your identity. If you believe we have not respected your rights, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
